Help. I've never done this before. So, after about 6 months of thinking about it - nothing as sophisticated as planning - I have taken the plunge and recorded a podcast. So, if anyone's out there, this is what you'll find, in addition to me talking.

The first piece of music is Never Never Land by Brown Bag Special from Tucson, Arizona. e-mail Corey from the band. And, by the way, his blog is An American Classic, and not An American Special as I said on the podcast.

The second track is You (Always on my Mind) by Brackenridge. e-mail Bill Matthews or visit his web sites http://www.billymatthews.com/ or http://www.m2m2.co.uk/

I also talk to Jessica about technology. Jessica is my daughter, aged 12.

Soundbed music is by Torchomatic and comes from the podsafe music network. The tracks played are Raining Colours and White Hotel.

Many thanks to Grant from three from leith for his advice and encouragement. And to the doyen of music podcasters, Mark from the tartanpodcast ("the almighty tartanpodcast") for inspiration.

Please leave comments on this page, or e-mail me with feedback.

Next show between Christmas and the New Year.

Gabor, well done !! A very confident start, with your own individuality stamped on it from the off. Jessica is a natural too; strange how kids don't have the wariness that we adults do talking into a microphone ! That's the hard part out of the way now - the first one's in the bag and each successive one gets easier and a lot quicker to do. I'm now subscribed and looking forward to the next one.
