The new mic has made a real difference to the sound; you're far more sensible than me as I blew slightly more than £4.99 on mine :-(
I hope you got that Aston Martin for Christmas (even if it was just a Matchbox or Dinky version; my parents bought me a Ferrari when I graduated which turned out to fit into my pocket...)
I liked "The Beautiful Game" track - I'm off to check the band's site now.
