podcast no. 3 - Happy New Year and avoid the plukes!

Play (right-click to download)

Well, I didn't get an Aston Martin. Maybe next year, but will I be good?

Today I play music from Scotland:

Exclusive to the electrical language podcast, The Electrical Language Singers. I'm their agent, so e-mail all offers to me!

The 4th Parallel - Wheels

Hollow Horse - Life is fine, but it could be wonderful

Twisted Melons - Panic

And my no 1 favourite track of 2005

Squander Pilots - Condiment

some music from the podsafe music network

the feed is http://feeds.feedburner.com/theelectricallanguagepodcast.

Happy New Year!

Thanks for the 'exclusive' laugh - good job I'd just walked out of the shop I was in before you started up !

Great choice in music; there are quite a few bands like those you featured that I'd love to play, but I feel I'd be duplicating Mark since we're both Scottish podcasts (though I play worldwide artists) and probably share quite a few of the same listeners who'd get bored of the same thing all over again !

Happy New Year to you - sadly I haven't avoided the plukes... I can't understand why, at almost 38, I seem to have regressed back to my teenage years on the pluke front ;-)

This podcast lark must be the holy grail of age-regression. I'd better just nip off and patent it to secure my licensing millions... heh heh !

"the holy grail of age regression" - Absolutely. It takes me back almost 30 years to the excitement of going out and seeing new bands regularly. I don't do that much, but get a real kick finding new bands and artists that aren't called Coldplay. When I first heard Condiment, it was very similar to when I first heard Waterfall (Stone Roses).
