podcast no 48 - girls with guitars

Play girls with guitars - 30:00 mins (right-click, save as to download to your computer or mp3 player)

Yes indeed, this podcast is about girls with guitars:

Spearmint - Girls With Guitars - from the Intercontinental Pop Exchange by Endearing Records

Gina Cutillo - Change My Mind

The SlimP - Gloria

Ragz - Restless Lullaby and Breathe

I strongly recommend you to check out It's A Frog's Life acoustic podcast.

Soundbed music by a girl with a piano, Green Eyes. The title music is by Tragic Shell Suit Disaster.

Excellent podcast.

Love ragz songs. Reminiscent of fairground attraction?

I've been terribly remiss over the last few weeks and failed to comment. Many apologies. But here I am now. Another fine show that saw me on my way to work on Monday. Loved Spearmint - reminded me of something like a cross between the Wannadies and The Divine Comedy. And Glimp - what a great guitar sound ! Anyone who dares pull off that weird key change in the solo gets my vote - I love when someone does the unexpected mid-song.

Oh - re. your comment about porridge on the TFL site - it's one of the few things I can't stand either. Hated it as a kid, and tried it again as an adult a month ago (as my tastes have changed in the last 30 years). Still vile and reminds me of eating soggy paper. Yuk !
