Recorded today, I'm trying to get back into the swing of this podcasting thing after the summer break. I think it shows that I'm a bit rusty. Anyway, here are 6 songs by bands I've played over the last few months, 3 I've played before and 3 new. All the bands are boy/girl, but there's a fair range of styles ...

Even though I'm now back from France, I'm still on my summer break from the work that goes into preparing a podcast each week. This one was recorded before I went away, and contains some great songs. We begin with 3 classics that I've played before, and then move on to some cracking songs from a couple of cds I've received this year.

The first of my pre-recorded podcasts. I will be taking a bit of a break in August, starting with 2 weeks in France, then spending weekends doing things other than podcasting! In the next few podcasts I will be revisiting bands and artists played over the last few months, and playing new tracks (and old) from my growing collection of cds by independent artists.

I've recorded these podcasts and uploaded them to the server. They should appear automatically on the next 2 saturdays, 19 and 16 August, so if you subscribe you should get them in the normal way.
If you download from here and the blog posts do not show up automatically, then try the libsyn blog.
I'll be back at home on 19 August to repair any mess ups!

Sorry about the delay in posting links and pics. Remember to use the links and check out the artists: tell them you enjoy their music, and if you like it enough, buy something.
No 134 is mainly acoustic:
Alan Wyatt - The Pavement Ties
I am awaiting some contact information for Allan Wyatt, who submitted this excellent song a few weeks ago. He tells me he has more great songs where this came from, and I've asked him to send more my way.
